I Heart Desserts!

This week's challenge at I Heart Faces is "Desserts". Desserts are my most favorite thing to make in my kitchen. During wrestling season I made a lot of Oreo Truffles and Sugar Cookie Bars (from a christmasnotebook.com).

I didn't know which photo to enter from my Flickr photos and didn't want to enter my cakeballs (because Bakerella is the judge) so I picked one of my favorites Margarita Cupcakes (non alcoholic version). I used this recipe and this frosting.

8 & 9 April - Outside & Talent Show Rehearsal

4 April - Egg Hunt

Thank goodness for the older kids, they hid the eggs twice for the youngest - all 60 of them. In the end we ended up with 63 - I think she found some from last year - good thing they were empty.

2 April - More of the War

Thank goodness there were vendors at the War, the boy needed a new singlet - had outgrown all the ones he owns. These things aren't cheap! He will put it to good use though, he has spring and summer tournaments coming up so he needed one for those.



While we were there, Kaitlyn and I kept ourselves entertained by trying to find ugly singlets on 17 mats. Here are some of our favorite uglies.
